Chapter Scholarships

VVA9 Chapter Scholarship Fund

We have been fortunate to be in a position to provide scholarship funding for Michigan High School graduates. In doing so, we have worked with organizations that are highly capable of providing the fiduciary oversight and administrative support needed to manage such an encompassing activity.

We are currently providing four $2,500 scholarships via the Detroit Public Schools Foundation. In addition, they are assisting us with a unique program to assist graduates of A. Philip Randolph Career and Technical Center who enter the skilled trades.  Carhartt, Inc. and the Southeastern Michigan Home Builder’s Association Foundation joined with is to assist these graduates in 2019 and 2020.

Through the Civil Air Patrol Foundation, we have funded a scholarship for a graduating high school senior in Michigan who is an accomplished member of the Michigan Wing of the Civil Air Patrol.

Working jointly with the Department of Michigan Marine Corps League Foundation we have also funded scholarships for descendants of United States Marines.

There are many deserving graduating seniors in Michigan who could use financial assistance as they embark upon their college journey.

If you are interested in assisting a Michigan high School graduate with their college expenses, please donate to our scholarship fund.

Your Support Makes a Difference
