Vietnam Veterans of America (VVA) is a national veteran’s service organization committed to the advancement of Vietnam-era veterans. Locally, Chapter 9 has been a beacon for Vietnam veterans in the Metro Detroit area since the 1980’s. We fully support and advocate on issues important to all veterans.

About “LZ Motown”.
Chapter 9 has had over 36 years of dedicated service to Detroit and the veteran community. Even though we have moved from our longtime location at Woodward and Temple, we are committed to being part of the Detroit scene and continuing as “L Z Motown” for many years into the future. As a member of Chapter 9, you become part of a national organization that has worked tirelessly in raising the public perception of the Vietnam veteran. Vietnam Veterans of America, Inc. has more than 700 Chapters nationwide. On a local level, as a member of Chapter 9, you will meet other veterans who have experienced Vietnam and the era in which our generation of veterans helped define. Because of this shared experience we fully support VVA’s founding principle:
