Richard White was recently honored during the 5th Annual Salute Our Warriors Fundraising Event for his tireless efforts in establishing numerous scholarships and assistance programs for Detroit High School students and descendants of Michigan Marines.
Mr. White was also recognized for his efforts in spearheading initiatives to establish endowed scholarship funds for the Descendants of Vietnam Veterans and Michigan Civil Air Patrol Cadets. A former Member of the Board of Directors of VVA9, Mr. White currently serves as the Chapter’s liaison to the Fallen And Wounded Soldiers Fund for the joint Vietnam Veterans In Need assistance program which he helped establish.
